About Kandahey
Established in 1994, based in NSW, Kandahey has been providing educational services, texts and tutoring opportunities to Australian students.
Kandahey Education currently offers one-to-one or small group tuition and bespoke learning opportunities to students in years 10 to 12.
Our tutors are targeted university graduates and undergraduates with the personal qualities to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to exceed all your learning expectations.
Current Learning Opportunities
We currently offer tuition to students in physics, chemistry and engineering studies and 'flash tutoring' blocks using the 3,2,1 model.
One-to-one tuition
We understand the busy schedule faced by many students and offer remote (online) one-to-one tuition and, if available, in-person (face-to-face) sessions.
Small Group Tuition
Small group tuition is available remotely for groups of two or three students. Generous discounts are available to small groups.
Flash Tutoring
A four session tutorial module that engages students new to year 12 to essential preparatory skills and knowledge for the Higher School Certificate.
Tutoring Hours
Tutoring is generally available weeknights from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM by appointment.
Weekend tuition is available in 2 hour blocks.

Alasdair
Founding Tutor in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Engineering Studies. Alasdair is a 30 year veteran teacher, HSC senior marker and Trial HSC examination author.
Lachlan
Principal Tutor in Physics and Chemistry. Lachlan is a 4th year medicine student at UNSW.
Rowan
Principal Engineering Studies Tutor. Rowan is a 3rd Year Chemical Engineering Student at UNSW.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we encourage purchasing tuition blocks. This is far more economical option and has lower penalties for cancellation under 24 hours notice.
For one-on-one or small group sessions: Provided fair notice is given (minimum 24 hours) then an allocated session can be rebooked at the discretion of the tutor.
For Flash tutoring: A no-show or cancellation fee of 50% will be charged.
To secure a tutor on a Saturday it is necessary to ensure fair compensation for their weekend time sacrifice.
